Power comes from a freshly built GM 355 V8 with a mild cam, paired with a new Turbo 350 automatic transmission with shift kit. The engine is topped with an Edelbrock AVS2 4-barrel carburetor and dressed with “Heartbeat of America” chrome valve covers. Supporting components include a new distributor, dual exhaust, aluminum radiator, and a Painless wiring system with modern fuse panel. The car runs cool, shifts smoothly, and has no leaks or mechanical issues. A trickle charger hookup and charger are also included for easy storage maintenance.

The chassis has been upgraded with a Chevrolet front clip and newer suspension, featuring disc brakes up front, drum brakes in the rear, and a GM 10-inch rear end with 3.31 gears. Power steering, power brakes, and new wheel bearings, ball joints, and bushings provide a confident and comfortable ride. Underneath, the car presents a clean and well-kept undercarriage.

Finished in high-quality Adobe Peach paint with excellent chrome and polished trim, the all-steel, rust-free body is straight and solid, highlighted by the distinctive split rear window and etched floral glass details. A rechromed original Vee grille in excellent condition and a matching front nose and fender bra are included. It rides on 15-inch Eagle Alloy 211 wheels with Accelera 195/65 front tires and BF Goodrich 235/70 rears for a classic hot rod stance.

Inside, the cabin features a custom gray interior with bucket seats that was refreshed several years ago and still presents nicely. The interior also includes a Lecarra leather-wrapped steering wheel, tilt column, Genie V8 shifter, seat belts, JVC stereo with cassette deck, and Sparkomatic 6.5-inch speakers. A centrally mounted Auto Gauge tachometer and a discreetly installed fire extinguisher under the driver's seat add to its practical and show-ready setup. All gauges and switches function properly, and the passenger seat tilts forward for easy rear access. The trunk is neatly finished with carpeting, a spare wheel and tire, a relocated battery, and an added third brake light for safety.

This Deluxe Sedan is a well-sorted, dependable hot rod that keeps its timeless 1940s styling with thoughtful performance upgrades. Turn-key, rust-free, and ready to enjoy on the road or at any local show.
