"This 1969 Volkswagen Convertible Beetle underwent a complete frame-off restoration and is now stunningly finished in Porsche Burgundy Red Metallic. With just 7,960 miles on the odometer, this Beetle is in excellent condition and ready for the road. If you've been searching for a VW Bug, this could be the one! The car has been restored and upgraded with modern features."

This VW originally came from Arizona, which means it was rust-free to start with. Then, a full off-frame restoration was carried out. Every part was taken off and either replaced with new components or meticulously refurbished. You'll find pictures of this restoration process included with the sale. During the restoration, the body was separated from the frame, the frame was powder-coated, and a new rear seat pan was put in place. All the body parts were taken off, meticulously prepped, and then painted in the eye-catching Porsche Burgundy color. The paint job is truly exceptional and covers the entire car, showing very few chips from driving. The wheels are mags, and there are five of them, all matching, complete with Wolfsburg center caps, which might be the originals. All the chrome components are in good condition, although there's a small dent on the driver's side of the front bumper. You'll spot a Karmann badge on the passenger side. In the front trunk, there's carpeting and a chrome jack stand, along with a full-size spare tire that matches the others.

The suspension and all the bushings have been swapped out, and the car now boasts four disc brakes. There's also an adjustable front beam and sway bar, contributing to excellent driving performance. Powering this Beetle is a 1776 VW engine with block number 241052. It's been equipped with an All Zims alternator conversion featuring a larger pulley and dual Decade 44 Carburetors. The car is fitted with a freeway flyer 4-speed manual transmission

The interior has been revamped with a tan tweed color scheme, and a new top has been installed, complete with a matching brown boot cover for when it's down. The seats have extra padding and sit higher, providing comfort and modern seat belts for safety. You'll spot the trickle charger on the floor, a thoughtful addition. The car features stylish billet-look door handles and window cranks. A stereo system with Bluetooth capabilities has been added for your entertainment. The new top fits perfectly and is easy to lower and raise. All the windows roll up smoothly, and the gaskets are in great condition. The rare dome light mirror is still present in the car, and it comes with two original keys.

The car is currently located in Georgetown, just north of Austin, TX. Feel free to contact us for more information.
