1965 Ford Mustang

This 1965 Ford Mustang coupe was acquired by the seller in 2003. Subsequent work consisted of repainting the body. The car is finished in Blue with metallic flake over Blue vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 289ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. All drum brakes, 15″ styled wheels, a Edalbrock four-barrel carburetor, a dual exhaust system, Original dash includes the mustang tape player. This Mustang coupe is now offered in Texas, and a clean Texas title in the seller's name.

The body is finished in Blue and is said to have been repainted approximately 6 years ago. The car does appear to have been bumped on the rear bumper and there is a scratch on the passenger door. The passenger door needs adjustment because the window will open the door if the window is rolled down all the way. Features include dual side mirrors, faux quarter panel vents, bright rocker panel trim, chrome bumpers, a dual outlet exhaust with polished turndown. There are paint chips on the hood, front fascia, and passenger door.

15″ wheels with blue Mustang-logo centers are mounted with 205/60/15R BF Goodrich tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with Drum brakes. The seller notes that the tires are from 2014 and should be replaced.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in Blue vinyl along with a heater and defroster, black rubber floor mats, lap belts for the front occupants, and a push-button AM radio and cassette Radio FM receiver. The interior appears to have a lot of originality to it but overall is in good condition.

And the car runs and drives. Under its current ownership it has always been garaged and driven once or twice a month. This car is in driver condition and would make a great example to fix up or enjoy in its current condition.

The 289ci V8 was rebuilt back in 2003 and has been maintained with all maintenance and is in good working order. A Vintage AC system was purchased along with a factory AC head unit. The system was halfway installed and the other parts are still in the box and included in the sale. In the trunk are the 4 original hubcaps and a cowl cover.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
